Marsøra is a popular hiking area by the outlet of Vefsna river. The trails are suitable for everyone. A trail from Mosjøen Town Center takes you to the area, which is suitable for biking, strollers, and wheelchair users.
Marsøra hiking area
Marsøra is a hiking area close by the town center, located west of Vefsna river in the Øyøra hiking area. A lean-to, grills, tables, and benches has been set up there. There is also remains from the time when there was boat building and timber booms in Marsøra.
Stroll along the peaceful path to Elveparken and cross the river on the old brigde Øybrua. Follow the river towards Øyfjellet. You will find benches along the way, where you can have a break and take in the view.
