General

You must be at least 18 years old to book a stay with us. If you are under 18, you must stay with your parents or legal guardian.

Accommodation at our destinations is for temporary stay, not permanent.

We reserve the right to reject you from the destination if the above requirements are not met. You will then lose the right to a refund.

When is the reservation binding?

A binding agreement is entered into when the booking is confirmed, regardless of the booking channel.

Booking fee

We charge a booking fee of 200 NOK per order, unless otherwise agreed.

If you book online through our website, we will provide you with an equivalent discount.

Arrival and departure

The times for arrival and departure depend on the specific item or object you are renting.

Cabins and apartments

Available from 3:00 pm on the day of arrival until 11:00 am on the day of departure. Cleaning on departure, bed linen, and towels are included in the rental price.

Camping

Available from 1:00 pm on the day of arrival until 12:00 pm on the day of departure. The site must be left as it was on arrival.

Change or cancel booking

Your cancellation rights depend on the price option you chose when booking.

Flex

Flex is our most flexible option. When you choose Flex, we give you the possibility to change or cancel your reservation right up until 3:00 PM the day before arrival. With Flex, you can secure your spot early, even before you're completely sure of your plans. Please note that there is a fee of NOK 130 per change/cancellation.

Cancellation must be made by email directly to the destination, after which we will send you a confirmation.

Best

BEST is our most budget-friendly option. Here, you won't have the flexibility to modify or cancel your reservation afterward. If you already know that you'll be traveling on specific dates, this is an excellent choice for you.

Terminate lease

You are not entitled to a refund if the rental period has started.

Payment

We offer various payment options.

Card payment

We accept payment from VISA and Mastercard. You can pay the entire amount directly when booking or choose to split the payment with a minimum of 100 kroner per month.

If you split the payment, interest will be charged by Nets.

Invoice

You can choose an invoice as a payment method when booking. You can choose between full and partial payment. Invoicing, follow-up, interest, and fees are handled by our partner AfterPay.

What happens if I do not pay?

If you do not pay on time, a reminder will be sent to your specified email address. If full payment is not completed by the due date of the reminder, the booking will be automatically canceled.

Your rights

If we do not provide the cabin/campsite in the promised condition and cannot offer a good alternative, you have the right to terminate the lease. In such cases, the entire rental cost will be refunded. Alternatively, you can claim compensation in the rental price. Any errors detected should be immediately reported to the relevant destination so that we have the opportunity to correct them.

Your obligations

You are responsible for the cabin/campsite during your visit. You should treat the rental property in a considerate manner and comply with the site's rules and instructions. You are responsible for any damage to the cabin/campsite. You should not let more people stay in the cabin/campsite than indicated in the reservation. You are responsible for returning keys and access cards upon departure, otherwise, we will charge you for any lock replacement. If the cabin is not left in a clean state, we will charge you for extra cleaning.

Termination of the agreement

The agreement terminates immediately if:

  • You or anyone in your party behaves disruptively
  • You or anyone in your party commits vandalism
  • The cabin/campsite is used for a purpose other than intended

If the agreement is terminated due to the above violations, you and your party must leave the cabin/campsite. You are not entitled to compensation or a refund.

Processing of personal data

We process personal data about you as a user of our services and products. Both Topcamp AS and the relevant destination where you are staying are responsible for processing personal data related to the reservation. We process your personal data in accordance with our privacy policy. We ask that you read the privacy policy for information on how we process your information and your rights.

In case of disputes

Please contact the relevant destination for any complaints or uncertainties. Your rights are reduced if you wait to contact us.

If we cannot come to an agreement, you can then contact the Conflict Council or the Conciliation Board in the relevant municipality, and possibly the Consumer Council.

Force majeure

Neither you nor Topcamp are responsible for any deficiencies in the fulfillment of the agreement if it is due to any of the exceptions listed below. The grounds for exemption under this paragraph apply to war, natural disasters, floods, conflicts of interest in the labor market, prolonged interruptions in water or energy supply, fire, or other similar major events that neither you nor we have been able to foresee or influence.
