Important information
Important information about fraudulent WhatsApp messages
We have been made aware that some guests with upcoming bookings at Topcamp Ekeberg have received fraudulent messages via WhatsApp.
The messages may appear to come from Topcamp and may contain correct information about the booking. The recipient is asked to confirm the reservation, payment card or other payment information via a link.
These messages are not from Topcamp.
Topcamp has also been informed of a security incident involving Compusoft AS, the supplier of our booking system. Compusoft has stated that unauthorized parties may have gained access to certain information in the booking system. We take the situation very seriously and are working closely with Compusoft.
What information may be affected?
The information that may be affected includes:
- name
- email address
- telephone number
- city/country
- certain booking information, such as arrival and departure dates, booking number, invoice number or information about the booked unit
Not all of this information is necessarily affected for each individual guest. This depends on which information was registered in connection with the booking and which information may have been accessed by unauthorized parties.
There are no indications that payment card details, bank details, national identification numbers or passwords have been affected by the security incident.
Your booking is still valid
You do not need to confirm your booking or payment information through a WhatsApp message. Your existing booking with Topcamp is still valid.

What you should do
- Do not click the link in the message.
