Topcamp collaborates with Oslo Kayak Tours and now offers 3-hour kayak tours on the idyllic Lake Bogstad. This activity is as perfect for families, as for friends or couples. The tour starts and ends at Bogstad beach, just a 5-minute walk from Topcamp Bogstad. There, the boats are ready for a pleasant journey on the water.
Information
The tour is offered every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday between 2 pm and 5 pm, in August and September.
From 950 NOK (including all equipment and light refreshments)
You will receive an introduction to paddling techniques to ensure you feel confident, and the tour is suitable for everyone, both adults and children. Children must be at least 6 years old.

The Paddling Route
You will paddle past Bogstad Gård, a beautiful manor from the 1600s that has played an important role in Norwegian history.
You will then paddle to the mouth of the Sørkedals River, which winds its way into the valley. Here you can paddle up a winding, calm river with exciting nature and wildlife on both sides.
The paddling tour continues to the northeastern corner of the lake, where you will land at Bjørnsgard – a small Norwegian folk museum with several small log houses and farm buildings. The oldest buildings are up to 800 years old and are among the best-preserved in the world. Here you will have a small break before paddling back to the starting point.
